I'm Xae, a UX/UI Designer based in Portland, OR.

I'm drawn to the space where technology, human behavior, & design intersect. Whether I'm improving a website, refining workflows, or conceptualizing a product, I enjoy untangling complex problems and turning them into experiences that feel intuitive, purposeful, and easy to use.

What fascinates me most is how technology shapes the way people think, communicate, and navigate everyday life. Design gives me the opportunity to influence those interactions in meaningful ways—creating systems that work not only for businesses, but for the people using them.

Outside of design, you'll usually find me playing strategy and puzzle-based games or diving down wiki rabbit holes. Recently, I've been revisiting piano after discovering the work of Ryuichi Sakamoto, whose compositions have a way of feeling minimal & beautiful despite being built on dissonant harmonies and complex music theory.
